Our wee business started life as “Celtic Moon” as the proprietors’ name , “Chandra”, means “moon as God” in the ancient Sanskrit language and being Scottish born and bred this was a perfect merging. This design has been a best seller since 2001 when we first began selling on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh.
Unique and dainty they are a fantastic example of classic Sterling Silver Celtic knot work , weaving in a crescent moon in both directions (Waxing and Waning ) – as a left and right earring. Reminding us further of the cycles of nature, womanhood, fertility, growth, life, death and re-birth.
